His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet traveled more than 8,000 miles to make his first-ever visit to Boca Raton on Feb. 24.
More than 2,800 students — more than 10 percent of the student body — lined up at the FAU Arena to see and hear him speak.
His Holiness spoke about the importance of world peace and love in his lecture called “Compassion as a Pillar of World Peace.”
“Genuine peace must come from inner peace. Without inner peace, world peace is impossible,” said the Dalai Lama in his speech.
