Wondering how you’re ever going to prepare for that MCAT test? FAU is now offering an MCAT prep class beginning May 22 and ending Aug. 7 that will cover biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics and verbal reasoning while giving five full-length, computerized practice MCAT exams. Though the damage to your pocket is $1,000, the 90 hours of personal instruction enable you to gain confidence by having someone directly clarify any confusion over concepts, which would improve your score. If you’re a business major, you should know how quickly bad manners can burn bridges. Think you need some pointers? Go to the Business Etiquette Networking Luncheon on May 25, where you will be coached through a business luncheon while being taught how to mingle and network with some real-life business people. The following employers will be present: U.S. Department of State, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Dillards, Verizon Wireless and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Professional attire is a must, and don’t forget your resume! There’s a $25 refundable deposit that will be returned to you once you arrive the luncheon. Become a social chameleon!
