With the Democratic and Republican national conventions making waves on every major news station, E! aired “Top 20 Political Scandals” on Saturday, quietly reminding everyone why politics can be fun.
Topping E!’s chart at number one was Eliot Spitzer’s famous, and highly publicized, fall from grace. Surprisingly, the President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky scandal was only number three, losing out to both Spitzer and Senator Craig, who was taken down by a bathroom sex sting.
Although the countdown is littered with scandals that have happened within the past five to 10 years, the show also tackles golden oldies like the 1987 Gary Hart debacle and the John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe scandal.
