With its contemporary decor and upbeat atmosphere, RA Sushi is a great choice for sushi, sake and dancing. The restaurant offers Pacific Rim dishes at moderate prices, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff, and separate kitchens for cold and hot meals.

RA Sushi offers a wide array of sushi, sea and land entrees. Do not get overwhelmed: the menu comes with an instruction manual and the wait staff is more than willing to make suggestions

The sushi menu includes familiar favourites like the California roll, spicy salmon roll and the vegetarian roll. And for those of you who are feeling daring, try the crazy monkey roll for $9.50. It contains smoked salmon, mango and cream cheese topped with avocado, red tempura bits, cashew nuts and drizzled with a mango sauce.

You cannot rush perfection; dishes are made to order and definitely worth the wait. While you are hanging out in the dimly lit dining room, you can order from their specialty drink menu or full bar.

One suggestion is the Tsunami Punch Bowl – a 60-ounce blend of cold sake, liqueurs and tropical juices. You will have to share this monster drink, as it is meant for two and is served in a fish bowl.

Some recommendations: Chicken Yakitori ($7.00) – three chicken skewers sautéed in teriyaki sauce. Apple Teriyaki Salmon ($16.00) – marinated grilled salmon topped with Fuji apple glaze, served with wasabi-mashed potatoes. Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Udon ($13.25) – Stir-fried Asian vegetables tossed with chili teriyaki glaze and undon noodles.
