Carnivals of Majors Fair

Free food, free advice, and fun prizes

One of the toughest choices you’ll ever have to make as a college student is what you want to be when you ‘grow up.’ Most students have no idea and if they do, they have questions.

On Wednesday, March 28th, the Career Development Center is hosting the 3rd annual “Carnival of Majors Fair” in the Senate Chambers in the University Center from 12 pm- 2 pm.

All nine colleges of FAU, including Nursing, Arts & Letters and Business, among others, will be attending. All students who attend will have the opportunity to speak with counselors and volunteers. It costs absolutely nothing to attend and, to sweeten the deal, there will be free food and refreshments such as Krispy Kreme, Quiznos Subs and much more. There will also be some game tables and opportunities to take part in raffles where you can win some cool prizes, one being an iPOD.

Brian Montalvo, Assistant Director of the Career Development Center on the Boca Campus, encourages students to come out to the event. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about different careers, majors and to ask questions about what interests them.

For more information about the Carnival of Majors Fair, contact the Career Development Center at (561) 297- 3533 or www.cdc.fau.edu.
