MacArthur Library Showcases Photography Exhibit

Greece, Venice, California, and Florida. Those four destinations are a few of the top vacation destinations in the world. Except for living in Florida, most students only dream of catching a glimpse of the scenery that can be found in these premier locations. From now until Dec. 19, students at FAU’s MacArthur Campus will have the chance to get a better picture of what vacationing there might be like – literally.

The MacArthur library will be presenting “Perception and Conception,” an exhibition by West Palm Beach freelance photographer Christopher Fay. The exhibition consists of 20 photographs taken by Fay while he was traveling throughout the aforementioned locations. Fay captures people, landscape, animals and various abstract images through his photography.

According to Fay, recognizing the beauty in photography is a gift. “The trick is to develop the patience and imagination to recognize it.”

This exhibition is free and open to the public. The MacArthur library is open Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to midnight; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
