A car allegedly hit a light pole in the University Center parking lot knocking it down onto a parked Lexus during a concert at Wackadoo’s Friday night, August 25.
The accident was a hit and run, said maintenance worker Carlos Sepulveda, who was called to the scene to clean up the debris from the fallen pole.
Although police have not confirm the time of the incident, Sepulveda believes it occurred between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
The glass shards from the light pole spanned over two lanes and six parking spaces. As of Saturday, August 25 five parking spaces were closed.
Police could not yet comment on the incident.
