Dining on Campus -Quiznos-

Arik Entin, Quiznos’ associate manager, says that lunchtime is his busiest time. “Between noon and 1:30, it’s standing room only. The food flies out of the kitchen.” Although his favorite is the Oven Roasted Turkey, Entin says the mesquite chicken sub is the most popular. But if you’re watching your carbs, Quiznos offers soups, chili and salads. For $1.99, you can also get a large drink and a bag of chips. “And the best part is, we’re open late. The Food Court closes at 6 pm, but we stay open until 8,” Entin says. That’s convenient for those whose class schedules don’t provide a break in the afternoon, or for a quick bite before a night class.

Michael Hannch, a graduate student, has a 7 pm class twice a week and says he doesn’t know what he would do without Quiznos. “I live off campus and by the time I get here, everything is closed,” he says. “Now I can get something to eat before class. Quiznos is a great addition.”

Quiznos is open Monday through Thursday 10:30 am to 8 pm and Friday 10:30 am to 5 pm – located in the Breezeway Cafe.
