The suspect stated he wanted to borrow the books for a test, but put the books down and abruptly departed. No property was taken. The professor did not know the suspect.

A routine computer check revealed one of the subjects had been previously removed from campus. He was arrested, transported to the Police Department and issued a Notice to Appear in court.
