Self-Defense Course -The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course. This is a 3-day intensive course open to FAU, BCC and PBCC students, faculty and staff. Women from the general public will be allowed to attend on a space available basis. FAU Chess Club – The FAU Chess Club meets at the University Center every Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The contact person is Bill McLean, Ext. 7-2236. Also there is additional information on the Boca Raton Chess Club web site www.BocaChess.com

Victory Bible Club-The Victory Bible Club meets every Thursday from 12-2 p.m. in the UCM room by the ATM in the breezeway. Lunch will be provided along with Bible study, discussions and trips. Workshops will be held at the Counseling Center, Room 229, which is located on the second floor above the Breezeway Food Court. Men’s Soccer-The FAU men’s soccer team will host UCF at the Oxley Center at 7:30 p.m., October 8. Directions to the Varsity Soccer Field: Follow I-95 or the Turnpike to Glades Road. Go east to the third traffic light past I-95. Turn left into the FAU main entrance. Proceed to the first road past the traffic light. Follow the road to its end. The Oxley Center is on the left hand side. Park in front and walk between the Oxley Center and the baseball field to the soccer fields.
