Army Emergency Relief Scholarships Fund — Eligibility: Applicant must be a dependant child of an active, retired or deceased army soldier, registered in the defense eligibility, unmarried for the entire academic semester, and under the age of 22 before June 1, 2003. SWEA South Florida’s Cultural Scholarship 2003 — Eligibility: A male or female residing in Florida who wishes to study or pursue projects in Swedish language, Swedish culture, environmental science, health care, art, music or literature, or participate in an exchange program in Sweden. All areas are with specific emphasis on Sweden and Swedish aspects. DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) — Fellowships are available to enable students and junior faculty to study at a German university or to work on a research project in Germany. Mary Isabel Sibley Fellowship — Criteria: Women between the ages of 25 and 35, must hold doctorate or have fulfilled all requirements except the dissertation and plan to devote full-time work to research during the fellowship year. Phi Beta Kappa Society sponsors this stipend of $20,000. The award may be used for the study of Greek language, literature, history or archaeology, or for the study of French language or literature. The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation Academic Postdocs in the Humanities — Criteria: Applicants must have received or expect to receive their Ph.D. in a humanities discipline between December 2000 and June 2002.
