The following part-time positions are available on campus. Job requirements and information are collected from the bulletin board in the Employment Office on the Boca Raton Campus or by submissions to the University Press.

Database Manager — The Campus Volunteer Center is looking for a database manager to manage the existing database of volunteers. Qualifications include experience with Microsoft Access, but MS Excel preferred. Compensation is $70 a week. Grad Assistant/Office Clerk — Qualifications include computer skills, good communication skills, and the applicant must be a graduate student. Work schedule is a 15 to 20 hour week with more hours needed in the months of December, May, and August at $9 per hour. Submit a resume to Lola Kerlin in Rm. 229 in the Student Services Building. Grad Research Assistant — The Biological Sciences Department and Environmental Lab at the Davie Campus are looking for two graduate research assistants from September 1, 2002 to August 31, 2003 to work on the EPA-sponsored project on beach quality. One position is only open to US citizens and lasts from September 1 to December 30. The position deals with protocols for biological warfare germs. Responsibilities include ordering supplies, running labs, coordinating other student researchers, and helping with reagent and media preparation. Compensation is $12,000 a year in addition to being a paid research assistant. Candidate will be able to use the project as a thesis research topic. Researcher — The International Programs Office is looking for a researcher or assistant coordinator to do research for study abroad programs for about 20 hours a week. Wages are $6.75 an hour. Student Worker — The new Biomedical Science Department is looking for a student worker who is interested in learning a variety of exciting software programs. Qualifications include a tremendous desire to succeed as well as a good team worker. Good disposition and sense of humor a plus. Work schedule is from 10 to 20 hours a week at a rate of $7 an hour.
