Cuong Nhu Oriental Martial Arts Club

Have you ever wanted to learn martial arts but didn’t have the money or the time? In that case, you may want to give Cuong Nhu a try. The Cuong Nhu club is one of the longest running clubs at FAU.

Cuong Nhu is a Vietnamese mixed martial art that includes boxing, Shotokan, Judo, Vovinam, Aikido, Wing Chun, and Tai Chi. Students can learn forms, joint locks, free sparring, and self-defense, among other things. Classes are free to FAU students and are held in the gym on the second floor.

Class times are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. and Fridays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring water, a towel, and get ready to sweat. For more information, call 954/895-8908
