Come Party Zeta Style

Jose Cuervo presents Zeta 94.9 FM’s 4th annual Bonzai festival concert April 26th at Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami. Tickets are on sale now for Bonzai 2002 at all Ticketmaster locations and online at either ticketmaster.com or zetarocks.com. The cost is $25 in advance or $35 at the door the day of the show. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the show begins at 3 p.m. The all-day lineup features 23 bands on three loud, live stages: two side-by-side feature stages, and one “new music download” stage for developing artists.

The bill boasts several high-caliber artists, most prominently multi-platinum acid rocker Kid Rock (“Bawitdaba,” “American Bad Ass,” “Lonely Road of Faith”). Prolific edgy, hard rocker Rob Zombie (“Living Dead Girl,” “Dragula,” “Never Gonna Stop) will also be on hand. Fred Durst protí©gí©es Puddle of Mudd (“Control,” “Blurry”) bring their old school rock style as well. Unique metal/rock mix artists Sevendust (“Denial,” “Praise”) are also on the card.

Hot new rockers Adema (“Giving In,” “The Way You Like It”) will light up the stage. Power poppers Local H (“Bound For The Floor”) will try to finally live up to their potential. Indie phenoms Gravity Kills (“Guilty”) will do their thing. Apex Theory (“Hope Diggy”) tries to build on the momentum of their hit single.

X-Ecutioners (“It’s Going Down”) will exhibit their turntable rap/rock sty lings. Reveille (“What You Got”) will bang out their uppity tunes as well. Hardcore metal newcomer Andrew W.K. (“Party Hard”) will be there to scare some people.

Two artists from successful groups will perform solo. Jerry Cantrell of Alice of Chains and Kevin Martin of Candlebox will try to showcase the chops.

To add a modicum of star power, 30 Seconds To Mars featuring Jared Leto (“My So-Called Life,” “Requiem For A Dream,” “Panic Room) have just been added.

Also slated to perform are Custom, Mesh STL, Lostprophets, Earshot, Sinnestar, Fu Manchu, Headstrong, Course of Nature and Chevelle.

Sponsors include Budweiser, The Academy, Doubletree Grand Hotel, Aloha Limousine Service and JP Mulligans.
