How and where to vote

VOTE for the upcoming Student Government Elections on the 2nd and 3rd of April.

The Student Government online voting will begin on Tuesday April 3, 2002 at 8 a.m. and continue through Wednesday April 4, 2002 until 8 p.m. Each currently enrolled FAU student will have the option of voting online via the web or a paper ballot available at all campuses.

To vote online, go to the Student Government Elections link on the FAU homepage (www.fau.edu). You will need to know your student identification number and pin in order to participate in the online voting. If you have forgotten your pin number, you must go to the Registrar’s Office and present a photo ID. Do not change your pin number at least five days before voting online.

To vote in person, you must vote for candidates on the campus where you take the majority of your credits. If you take an equal amount of credits on two campuses, you must bring a printout of your current schedule as proof (a copy of your current classes can be obtained using the grades/transcripts link on the FAU homepage). In such cases, students may choose candidates on ONE campus to vote for.

The on-campus polling locations are: Breezeway, Fleming Hall, and Social Science.

There will be free T-shirts handed out for all that vote at the on-campus polling locations.

And finally, you can only vote once.

If you have any questions regarding any of the voting procedures, call the elections’ liaison at 561/297-0431.
