INCODE

Members:Jerry Gonzalez – vocals, guitars, programmingScissorhands – bass, backing vocals, programmingLeo Marques – drums

Bio:In 1999, three guys who call themselves Incode came together to create a new audience by changing the music scene. This Miami-based trio incorporated a mixture of sounds that has now become synonymous with the band’s name.

UP: How did you decide on the name Incode?Incode:We all brainstormed and it came out all of a sudden.UP: Does the name of the band have any significance with the type of music the band plays?Incode: Yes, the music we play gives you a feeling (a futuristic feeling) that everything is possible.

Sound:Incode’s unique blend of heavy metal, drum ‘n’ bass, techno and trance provide an interesting background for Gonzalez’s haunting vocals. They strive to create a new sound that they hope will have an impact on the way music is made.

If you are interested in seeing Incode live, catch them on Feb. 13 at the Factory and Feb. 16 at Kaffe Krystal. For more info on the band check them out at www.mp3.com.
