The skinny on the club scene is all about a hot new party on the strip in Fort Lauderdale. Ka’ Unity Fridays, which is downstairs at Las Olas Riverfront in the Umi Lounge, is the place to be at the end of the week. And it’s no wonder why: it has an open bar until 1 a.m. and a cover of only $7.
Ka’ Unity Fridays is also jumpstarting the return of the 18-and-older crowd to downtown Fort Lauderdale. Although the crowd is predominately gay, it’s a unity party – everyone is welcome. The club plays a mix of top 40s, throwback hits and house mixes. It’s a unique setting, so you can dress casual or go party monster crazy.
