Exhibit – The SouthXEast Exhibit Contemporary Southeastern Art will display some of the finest work of contemporary artists in the Southeastern United States through March 12 in the Ritter Art Gallery. For more information, call (561) 297-2966.

Lecture – “Blind Spot: The Secret History of U.S. Counterterrorism” Timothy J. Naftali will present an exciting lecture about why the U.S. is so very, very naughty at 4:30pm Feb. 25, in the Live Oak Pavilion.

Dinner – The Career Development Center in SU 220 is sponsoring an Etiquette Dinner on a first come first served basis. It will be held on Feb. 24, at the Boca Raton Marriott Hotel from 6-9pm, in order to hold their place students will be asked for a $30 check which will be given back to them before the dinner. Business attire is required and students should arrive no later than 5:45pm so we can begin on time. Deposits must be dropped off at the Career Development Center no later than Feb. 21.

Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will celebrate Black History Month with a series of lectures and symposia organized by the Special Assistant to the Dean for Diversity Initiatives. For more information, call (561) 297-3920.

Presentation – Former Tuskegee Airmen, the first squadron of African-American fighter pilots in World War II, talk about their service to this country during the war at 9:45am, Feb. 24 in the Crown Movie Theater on the Jupiter Campus.

Lecture – “Octoroon, Quadroon, Mulatto and Mariah Carey: Blackness as Stigma and Badge of Color” by Sike Dagbovie, University of Illinois, Urbana at 4pm, Feb. 24 in Live Oak Pavilion D.

Presentation – Former Tuskegee Airmen, the first squadron of African-American fighter pilots in World War II, talk about their service to this country during the war in the Friedberg Auditorium, in the Life Long Learning Building, at 6:30pm, Feb. 24.
