BEST TV SHOW TO GIVE YOU A FAT DOSE OF REALITY

I’ve always been a fan of MTV’s reality show “The Hills,” but this show is getting old. It’s beginning to look like an L.A. version of Groundhog Day, with the same things and the same fights over and over again.

During this week’s episode, Stephanie and Heidi go to VICE (a local L.A. club) to have a girl’s night out. While there, they encounter Heidi’s arch-enemy roommate Audrina and some of her friends.

So Heidi, to regain her social circle of girlfriends, strikes up an awkward conversation with Audrina, but the latter seems to be under Lauren’s spell and is keeping her distance from Heidi.

In the meantime, while friendships crumble and awkward tensions develop on one side of L.A., Whitney’s scored a new job at a new company, leaving Lauren alone working at Teen Vogue. No word on how long Lauren’s staying, though, since Whitney’s bosses seem to like Lauren, and who knows whether a new job might be coming her way after her successful Paris stay.

It seems jobs are getting better and some friendships seem to be flourishing, but MTV wants to cling to the very old Heidi-Spencer-Lauren feud, making us (the audience) bored of the same plot.
