These events are free for Broward County FAU students only

June

Sunday 27: Kid’s Club is hosting a “Tell me a Tale” story time at 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Askew Towers.

Tuesday 29: Ideas and Issues is hosting a lecture called “End of Racism” by Preacher Moss from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Liberal Arts building in Room 233.

July

Saturday 10: Kid’s Club is hosting ice skating from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Florida Ice Arenas.

Wednesday 20: Ideas and Issues is hosting a lecture on “Being Malcom X’s Daughter” by Ilyasah Shabbaz from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Liberal Arts building in Room 233.

Sunday 25: Kid’s Club is hosting an “Under the Sea” trip to Sea World from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday 31: Special Events is hosting a rapids trip from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in West Palm Beach. In order to be part of this special event you must sign up between Monday, July 12 and Wednesday, July 28 at 2 p.m. and you must bring a $10.00 refundable check to reserve your seat. Buses will be provided and leaving from the Davie Campus.

August

Tuesday 24: Ideas and Issues is hosting a lecture on “Goal Setting and Problem Solving” by Tony Deliso from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Liberal Arts building in Room 120.
