Hoot Recordings — FAU’s student-run record label, Hoot Recordings, holds general meetings every Monday from 12 – 1 p.m. in Arts & Letters room 260 on the Boca Raton campus. Hoot Recordings offers positions in all departments of a traditional record label, including artists & repertoire, business, dance, engineering, graphic design, marketing & promotions, music management, newsletter, producing, songwriting and video production. Students for Israel — Students for Israel is a club that comes together once a week every Wednesday in the Sago Palm Room at 5 p.m. to talk about what’s been going on in Israel in a fun and engaging way. For more information, go to www.students4israel.org.

Hiking — Outdoor enthusiasts will have the opportunity to walk the trails of Pine Jog with an experienced naturalist the first Saturday of each month 9 – 11 a.m. The monthly strolls will include the study of concepts such as food chains, energy flow, water cycles and more. Pre-registration is recommended, please call Jennie at 561/686-6600. Cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children. Catholic Newman Club — The Catholic Newman Club holds several events weekly. Scripture Sharing with Sister Nancy every Monday 1 – 2 p.m. in the UCM room. A free lunch is provided. The Rosary by the Lake is held every Monday at 6 p.m. Those interested in the Catholic faith, social issues, or just want to hang out may wish to meet Joe at Joe’s Corner every Wednesday 12:30 p.m. across from the famous coffee man in the breezeway. There is a Newman Fellowship every Wednesday in GCS 116 at 5:30 p.m. The FAU Catholic Newman Club Choir holds practice before Mass every Sunday at 4 p.m. in the UC Majestic Palm Room. Bible Study — Anointed Vision will be having bible study at 7 p.m. in the Palmetto Palm room, every Thursday night.

Exhibit — The Master of Fine Arts Exhibition showcases the work of students in the Masters of Arts program from April 15 through June 15. It will include photography, sculpture, pottery, graphic design, printmaking and painting. University Galleries’ Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 12 – 4 p.m., Wednesday: 12 – 6 p.m., Saturday: 1 – 5 p.m. For more information, please call 561/297-2966 or email [email protected].
