For those looking to change the state constitution, the Florida Constitutional Revision Committee will be holding a public hearing at Florida Atlantic this week.

On Friday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to noon, members of the committee will meet at the Recruiting Room of FAU Stadium to field concerns from citizens of Palm Beach County.

Held every 20 years according to state law, the 37-member committee travels the state for a year visiting each county as they gather information to suggest potential changes to the state constitution.

The first of the official hearings was held at the University of Central Florida for Orange County on March 29. The Miami-Dade hearing will be held at Florida International University on April 6.

For those looking to propose potential legislation to the committee, they will have to send an email to [email protected].
