I can do pass coverage, but I’d rather hit the running back in the mouth.”

Those were the words American Heritage (Plantation) senior linebacker Bradley Clement used to describe his physical style of play.

Clement gained his physicality from his time at American Heritage, where he wrestled and lifted weights competitively on top of starring on the football team. According to Clement, he only lost two wrestling matches in two years and went to states in all three sports.

In football, Clement won two state championships and was named first team all county in three years. He also is a two-time second team all-state member.

“It makes me feel great, I just know I got a lot more to accomplish,” Clement said.

Becoming a freshman All-American is toward the top of Clement’s list of future accomplishments. One thing already crossed out on that list is making sure that the potential of becoming an All-American happens in Boca Raton.

“I love the home feel,” Clement said while noting that he’ll be able to play around his family and friends.

He believes the energy he will bring on and off the field is what’s going to make FAU fans fall in love with him by the time his collegiate career is winding down.

“They’re going to love the magic I do on the field,” Clement said.
