Boca’s Best? More like Boca’s the best – or at least one of them, according to the 2015 Niche Rankings.

The website that ranks various places according to population and quality of life listed Boca Raton as the second best town to live in Florida. Boca fell to Sarasota, ranked at no. 1, and triumphed over Deerfield Beach, Venice and Largo, which made up the rest of the top five.

On a national scale, Boca came in at no. 72 between Eagan, Minnesota and Framingham, Massachusetts.

The town earned “A” grades for categories including things to do, easiest commute, health and fitness, weather and outdoor activities. However, it came out with only a “C” in crime and safety.

Furthermore, the city was judged based on education, community, housing and jobs – all falling in the “B-” to “B+” range.
