This revolution will be televised…The Sociology Film Club is presenting their weekly “SocioCinema: Imagining a Better World” event. The film club showcases a different film each week, introduced by guest speakers, who will also lead a discussion after the film. Go green – get greenThe Arthur R. Marshall Environmental Education Foundation in West Palm Beach is conducting a paid ($2,000) internship program for summer 2008. It is an 11-week internship focusing on the Florida Everglades and the multi-billion dollar plan to save it. Dates are from May 23 to Aug. 8. Application deadline is March 31. The Cars had more influence on music than you thinkOn March 15 at 12 p.m. in the University Theatre (the one behind Arts and Letters on the Boca campus), a lecture titled “The Concert Hall that Fell Asleep and Woke Up as a Car Radio: The Effects of Transportation on Classical Music” will be given by composer Libby Larsen.
