Yik Yak School Shooting Threat

Florida Atlantic police have identified the anonymous user who is accused of making a threat using the popular social media site Yik Yak. The person is in custody, according to an @FAUPD tweet.
Police used Twitter to make the announcement:
Yakker who threatened #FAU campus identified and in police custody.

According to other Yik Yak users in the Florida Atlantic University community, they said, “Someone made a threat to shoot up the breezeway tomorrow.” The comment was posted at about 8:20 p.m. Another user of the social media site said, “My friend sent me a picture of a gun and told me he was going to shoot up the breezeway tomorrow.” One student contacted police via Twitter, asking if they knew about the incident.
