Florida Atlantic police have identified the anonymous user who is accused of making a threat using the popular social media site Yik Yak. The person is in custody, according to an @FAUPD tweet.

Police used Twitter to make the announcement:

According to other Yik Yak users in the Florida Atlantic University community, they said, “Someone made a threat to shoot up the breezeway tomorrow.” The comment was posted at about 8:20 p.m. Another user of the social media site said, “My friend sent me a picture of a gun and told me he was going to shoot up the breezeway tomorrow.” One student contacted police via Twitter, asking if they knew about the incident. The full conversation can be seen below.
