Reflections and Notes:

Men’s Golf
FAU finished in second place at the Houston Baptist Invitational last week, losing to Texas Rio Grande Valley by one stroke. The Owls had three golfers finish in the top 10 for the tournament: Cody Christensen at sixth, Jackson Shoenfelt at sixth and Yuki Fujii at ninth.

Football:
Football won its first game of the season Saturday night, breaking an eight-game losing streak and an eight-game road losing streak.The win was Charlie Partridge’s first away win as head coach at FAU.
Quarterback Jaquez Johnson played in his first game since his ankle injury during the Miami game two weeks ago.

Men’s Soccer:
Men’s soccer is currently in the midst of a 16-game losing streak (0-15-1) going back to last season. Their last win was on Oct. 4 of last year at Marshall.
