FAU men’s basketball has landed its first recruit for the 2013 class.
Gill St. Bernards (Gladstone, N.J.) shooting guard Chris Jenkins verbally committed today to FAU, according to Owl Access.
“I loved the campus, and the coaching staff is really supportive,” Jenkins said. “They love their guys, and the guys love them. It’s a program that is really going to be good in a couple of years, and I just want to be a part of that.”
Jenkins, 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, averaged 17 points per game for Morristown-Beard before transferring to Gill St. Bernards over the summer for his senior season.
