Miami-born rapper Pitbull is set to bring the house down at FAU’s Freaker’s Ball on Oct. 23, along with Brooklyn-native rapper Fabolous.
Pitbull’s newest and fourth studio album release, Rebelution, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold 41,000 copies in its first week, making it his most successful album-ranking on the charts to date.
The new album has already spawned two hit singles: “Krazy,” featuring rapper Lil Jon, and his most successful single yet, “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” which peaked at No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Fabolous also has several hits that include “So Into You,” featuring R&B singer Tamia, and “Baby.”
Aside from the current success of Pitbull’s new album, the rapper’s thriving career spans over the production of four studio albums, with hits that include “Dammit Man,” “Bojangles,” “Ay Chico” and “Go Girl.”
Pitbull has also collaborated with numerous artists, has been featured in hits that include rapper Twista’s “Hit the Floor” and the Ying Yang Twins’ “Shake,” and is currently being featured in Jennifer Lopez’s promotional track “Fresh Out the Oven.”
Pitbull is set to take the stage in full force, and with all of his hits being hardcore dance jams, his performance is expected to be off-the-wall.
Considering he is currently promoting his new album, “Hotel Room Service” and “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” are anticipated to be on the set list along with a few other hits throughout his career. “Dammit Man” would also be a fantastic throwback and would have the entire audience jumping out of their seats.
