Don’t flip to “Pam: Girl on the Loose” expecting to see another one of E!’s usual reality shows, which mostly consist of fame-hungry wannabes that will do anything to keep their faces in the spotlight.
Unlike “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” another E! concoction that doesn’t run short on entertainment – but does run short on reality – “Girl on the Loose” is hardcore.
Its grainy ’70s-style footage adds an artistic feel, and the show itself doesn’t look the least bit scripted. But that also means there is a three-and-a-half minute segment where we have to watch Pam Anderson and her limo driver find a way into the airport when the main road is closed off – boring.
Nobody likes being in traffic jams. In fact, the only thing worse is watching someone else stuck in a traffic jam.
Kudos to Anderson for proving that she’s not a dumb fame whore. But while this show is a more serious project for her, it’s seriously not entertaining.
“Pam: Girl on the Loose” airs on E! Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
