If you haven’t noticed, the University Press is going through some changes – and we want to make sure you’re coming along with us.
Since we’re students just like you, I’d like to share three things I learned this week.
It’s still cool to be a hippieThe sixth-annual Langerado Music Festival was in town during spring break and hundreds of music-lovers – and hippies – headed over to the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation in the Everglades for the four-day festival. Read more on page 6.

Pet sitting isn’t easy In an effort to bring some character into our newsroom, we bought a betta fish. Instead of ignoring it like I thought would happen, the fish was visited on a daily basis. As the new editor in chief, I’ve made an effort with my team to take on more of a magazine-style approach to covering FAU and we want to know what you – our readers – have to say about the paper.
If you’d like to share your thoughts, join our team or just visit our fish, the newsroom door is always open. We’re upstairs in the Boca campus Student Union, Room 214.
