French bookwormsYou don’t have to walk around in South Florida’s stifling heat next summer with the rest of us. Instead, you can take your summer courses in France – the real France in Europe with the Eiffel Tower and the people who say “oui” instead of “yes.” The info session on this chance of a lifetime will be held on Nov. 30 from 1-2 p.m. in the Arts and Humanities Building, room 116.
Dancing the way we really danceThe dance program at FAU has decided to break way in dance showcases by not offering students the chance to see a way-too-long-for-comfort ballet or modern dance show common to theaters around the world. Instead, the program has decided to teach and showcase anyone interested in real dance moves used by real people. The shows are on Dec. 11 and 12 at 8 p.m. in the University Theatre. The real political correspondent of comedyLewis Black, the aged comedian and actor, will be visiting the Filmore in Miami Beach for your enjoyment on Dec. 31.
