Carnivowl, a Program Board sponsored event, promises to give you a “wild” time tonight by the Center Marketplace Cafeteria on the Boca campus at 9 p.m.
The theme this year will be the “wild west” and will offer many activities for the students that attend. The carnival style event will have everything an FAU cowboy or cowgirl would enjoy, complete with bull riding, rodeo roper and cowboy hats. There will also be a chance for students to participate in karaoke and contests that offer some great prizes provided by Program Board.
“This is the first time I hear about this event,” said senior Ada Corredor. “But from what I understand it will be pretty cool.” Compared to last year’s Carnivowl, which held a more traditional carnival theme with games and a rock climbing wall, the new theme will give the event a different twist that might appeal to more students.
