The Health Center stresses confidentially. All walk-in appointments can be made in a private booth so that no one can see you. Thirty to 40 percent of appointments are walk-ins.
Brush Your TeethA full dental service consultation is available to students for $10. Yes, the health clinic has dental services. Students can have x-rays, fillings, bondings, teeth whitening and home-care fluoride for reduced fees.
Get TestedThe Women’s and Men’s Clinic provides everything from pap smears, HPV vaccines, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, tuberculosis screenings and almost every form of birth control.
Fill Your PrescriptionAlthough the full-service pharmacy’s prices are usually lower than outside prices to begin with, they offer medications to uninsured FAU students at a discounted price.
Feel BetterThe Counseling Center offers free confidential weekly psychological sessions for any FAU student by experienced professionals. A specific HIV/AIDS counselor is also available to students who test positive.
