Considering the cost of tuition, school supplies, and parking decals, coming back for the spring semester is usually hard enough on students and their bank accounts. Now, on hot South Florida days, the cost of a 20 oz. water or soda has increased from $1 to $1.25. This is the first increase in six years.
The Interim Director of the University Center, Stacy Volnick, stated that it is a “contractual increase.” The sixty cent soda products, the snacks, and the $1.50 juice products remained the same price.
