Self-Defense Course – The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course. This is a three-day intensive course open to FAU, BCC, and PBCC students, faculty, and staff. Women from the general public will be allowed to attend on a space-available basis. Lecture – “Blind Spot: The Secret History of U.S. Counterterrorism” Timothy J. Naftali will present an exciting lecture about why the U.S. is so very, very naughty at 4:30 p.m., Feb. 25, in the Live Oak Pavilion.
Dinner – The Career Development Center in SU 220 is sponsoring an Etiquette Dinner on a first come first served basis. It will be held on February 24th, at the Boca Raton Marriott Hotel from 6-9 p.m., in order to hold their place, they will ask students for a $30 check which will be given back to the student before the dinner. Business attire is required and students arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. so we can begin on time. Deposits can be dropped off at the Career Development Center no later than Feb. 21.
Comedy – Mark Russell will perform at 8 p.m., Feb. 5 in the UC.
