Year one
Immediately following the election, we can look forward to protests and riots the likes of which America has never seen. It’s one thing for the country to be divided in their choices of candidates and issues, but it’s another thing if half the country (if not more) loathes its president. Bush has his supporters, but those who oppose him detest him like no other president before him. They protested his first inauguration, and then they also protested his presence during the majority of his first term, and they are most definitely gonna go bananas when he gets re-inaugurated.
Year two
We are still in Iraq; more than ever as a matter of fact. Some have even started to call it America Jr. Bush and Co. have set themselves up with a nice little franchise. Bush has built himself a cash cow of opportunity. All his plans for Iraq are finally being realized.
Bush will have an ally, a business gold mine, and a nice vacation spot 20 years down the road when all the violence finally ceases. Bush really made out of that deal nicely, not to mention Cheney whose pals at Halliburton are reaping all the benefits of this “Liberated” nation.
Year three
At this point, even if Bush has evaded another devastating attack on American soil from our foes, he is still greatly disliked by the American public. He comes very close to being impeached, but manages to weasel his way out of doing so by starting another war.
That’s right, another war. I’m thinking North Korea, but really it could be with anyone. Practically the entire globe is filled with America haters.
We’ve lost all our allies and military enrollment has dropped drastically due to W’s warmongering.
The possibilities are so overwhelming for Georgie that he’ll have no other choice but to go to war. Meanwhile, the impeachment process is put on hold so that the commander-in-chief can play Risk on a global scale.
Year four
The one thing that these next four years have done for the Democratic party has made them train their candidates more thoroughly. Two photo finishes are enough for the Democrats; now it’s time to win. I’m thinking Hillary Clinton this time, and she’ll be ready. America will be so ready to get the Republicans out of office. Unfortunately for the Democrats, they will be inheriting an enormous national debt, hatred and possible terrorism coming from every angle, and a country full of people that no longer trust the government. Fortunately, Hillary Clinton is ready for the job. Perhaps with Al Gore as her running mate, she will attempt to fix what George W. Bush has demolished in the past eight years.
