Over 150 students flocked to the Back to School Barbeque for free hot dogs and hamburgers. The barbecue started at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, the first day of the fall semester. It was funded by the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.

The barbecue was held in the barbecue pits between the Heritage Park Towers, Indian River Towers and Algonquin residence halls.

Chris Jeanthenor, a senior criminal justice major, and president of Alpha Beta Iota organized the party. “It’s pretty much the foam party without the foam,” Jeanthenor said.
