On Thursday afternoon, Calvary at FAU, an on-campus student ministry, held their Sports Fest event in the Housing Lawn and gave out pizza to all who attended.
The events consist of football, ultimate Frisbee, soccer and volleyball. The teams would switch games every 20 minutes. In the end, the BearSharks, a team from FAU ResFest who brought their team to Sports Fest, took home the trophies and gift cards.
“Sports fest is a multi-sport tournament where the teams compete to win Moes gift cards and trophies. This is a weekly event that happens Thursdays at 5 p.m.,” said senior computer science major Aaron Richter.
