The three finalists for FAU president will be on campus on Monday, March 1, and Tuesday, March 2, to meet with students.

Come ask the candidates questions during the forums and fill out feedback cards after each event. Fill one out online here.

Presidential search committee and Board of Trustees chair Nancy Blosser said FAU “really, really wants to hear what students think” and that the committee “will take student feedback seriously.”

Student Body President Tiffany Weimar says she “strongly encourages students” to attend all the open forums or watch the Webcasts. Also a committee member, Weimar says she hopes all students will come out to meet the candidates and “put in their thoughts.”

Open forums will be held on the Boca, Davie, Jupiter and Treasure Coast campuses. Davie campus forums will be simulcast to the Fort Lauderdale campus (Room HE 608) and SeaTech campus (Auditorium).

Final candidate interviews

At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3, FAU’s Board of Trustees (BOT) will meet in the Majestic Palm Room of the Boca campus Student Union to interview the three finalists.

The presidential search committee and the BOT will then reconvene to deliberate and FAU’s sixth president will be elected.

All interviews and BOT meetings are open to the public. They will also be shown live online.
