With less than a week left before the final ballots are cast, if you haven’t made your choice for president, you’ve got some issues.
Speaking of issues, if you honestly don’t know where Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama stand, you need to spend some quality time with Google. We’re not going to tell you where they stand or endorse either candidate – in fact, other than the list of presidential candidates (there are 13 on the ballot), we’re not even going to mention them unless it’s in a quote or on a bumper sticker (page 11).
Besides the over-published, over-debated presidential election, there are a lot of other important things on the ballot – including six amendments, one of which hits close to home for many FAU students. (See the full list of amendments on page 4 and read about the Florida Marriage Protection Amendment on page 8.)
If you’re still clueless about the candidates, check out McCain’s campaign site at www.johnmccain.com and Obama’s at www.barackobama.com.
Or, you can seriously just Google the issues.
