Last season, viewers were left wondering who Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) called from the airport and asked to marry him in the season six premiere – finally our questions were answered.

Viewers figured it was one of three people: his ex-girlfriend Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush), who is a fashion designer, his ex-fiancí_e Lindsey Strauss (Michaela McManus), who edited his book and left him at the altar, or Peyton Sawyer (Hilarie Burton), the love of his life.

The premiere kicked off by giving us a glimpse into the future where he was married to each of them, but the end result was rather disappointing – there was a lot of drama for one of the girls who didn’t get the call from Lucas involving a brutal beating from a stranger. Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) and Skills (Antwon Tanner) continued their secret romance, but Nathan (James Lafferty) is getting closer to finding out, which should be interesting.

Brooke continues to battle with her mother (guest start Daphne Zuniga) over her clothing shop, and Millicent (Lisa Goldstein) and Mouth (Lee Norris) try to take their relationship to a more serious place, but some friendships are put at risk.

Tonight’s episode, however, looks promising for more drama, secrets and revenge.
