Dust off your Susan B. Anthony costumes, or shine your Ben Franklin canes, because the best and only summer costume party is this weekend. The Stonewall Ball is one of the largest fundraisers for Compass, an organization for the LBGT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people) community that educates, advocates, promotes pride and provides health services.
The Stonewall Ball includes a patron dinner, live entertainment, dancing, and the silent auction. Every year The Stonewall Ball helps to create public awareness about historical moments in human rights history, and every year it’s a themed party. This year is a Colonial American theme so cocktail or 18th century Colonial American attire is strongly recommended.
The patron dinner begins with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the door at 9 p.m. for the ball.
Located at: Harriet Himmel Theatre. 600 S Rosemary Ave. in West Palm Beach. Ball only $20, Patron dinner and ball package $150. For more information call (561) 533-9699 or go to Compassglcc.com
