Sell Some Souls to the FAU MachineYou can sell some souls to the FAU devil by inviting them to the Open House on the Boca Campus this semester. Newcomers will enjoy a daylong tour around the university and visit main buildings, professors, and dorms. Afterwards, the tour group will receive a packet and an application calling for a blood signature. Join the FAU orientation leaders on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Let’s Light Christmas Trees and Menorahs Together…The Interfaith couple’s forum is offering Jewish and Non-Jewish couples the chance to discuss difficulties and challenges they might be facing. Joined Together? A documentary on interfaith relationships will be shown at the forum and discussed afterwards. There is no charge to attend the event at the Queen Palm Room on the second floor of the Student Union on Nov. 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Call (561) 487-3839 to reserve your space.

Duties include assisting members who require help with machines by walking around the facility. You must have knowledge of fitness equipment and CPR training. More than Just Bright FuturesThe Henry Morrison Flagler Scholarship has offered money to cover tuition and fees not covered by Bright Futures as well as room and board at FAU to all students that are already eligible for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. Students must promote global awareness, university interaction, and world peace. Incoming freshmen who are eligible must maintain a 3.0 GPA to win this full merit award. Community College Honors Scholarship Limited awards of $3,000 per year for incoming junior transfer students with a minimum 3.5 GPA are available with this scholarship. Eligible students must be graduates of the Honors Program at any Florida Community College. To receive the scholarship submits an official Florida Community College transcript with an Associate of Arts degree and a letter of recommendation from a community college adviser (preferably Honors Program adviser). Clothing DriveYou can still make donations during the last week of the October Clothing Drive which benefits the Migrant Association of South Florida, Inc., through the Caridad Center which targets migrant families who are in need of assistance, and Aid to Victims of Domestic Violence (AVDA). Boxes are located in the lobbies of all FAU residential halls, including the student apartments, and in the Volunteer Center office, located in Room 207 of the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus.
