Newcomers will enjoy a daylong tour around the university and visit main buildings, professors, and dorms. Let’s Light Christmas Trees and Menorahs Together…The Interfaith couple’s forum is offering Jewish and Non-Jewish couples the chance to discuss difficulties and challenges they might be facing. Joined Together? A documentary on interfaith relationships will be shown at the forum and discussed afterwards. Community College Honors Scholarship Limited awards of $3,000 per year for incoming junior transfer students with a minimum 3.5 GPA are available with this scholarship. Eligible students must be graduates of the Honors Program at any Florida Community College. To receive the scholarship submits an official Florida Community College transcript with an Associate of Arts degree and a letter of recommendation from a community college adviser (preferably Honors Program adviser). Clothing DriveYou can still make donations during the last week of the October Clothing Drive which benefits the Migrant Association of South Florida, Inc., through the Caridad Center which targets migrant families who are in need of assistance, and Aid to Victims of Domestic Violence (AVDA). Boxes are located in the lobbies of all FAU residential halls, including the student apartments, and in the Volunteer Center office, located in Room 207 of the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus.
