There is nothing better than quality free stuff and good music all in the same place. What’s even better is getting into such a place at a discounted rate.
Warped tour rolls into the Miami area this Saturday, and almost every year it sells out before gates open. But last-minute ticket buyers are in luck!
Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., radio station Buzz 103.1 will be at Bransmart USA on Palm Beach Lakes giving away Warped Tour tickets. They will be first come first served, so try to get there as early as possible.
The only thing that listeners need to do to receive tickets at Bransmart is to donate a new unwrapped toy, that will be given then be given to needy children.
A ticket from ticketmaster.com will cost $43.75 with all the taxes and service charges, and there is no re-entry. So if you spend money on a nice toy on sale at Walmart, you save a lot of money on your ticket, courtesy of the Buzz, and not to mention you help a child in need.
When preparing for Warped here are some tips:
– In previous years you can bring one sealed bottle of water – size doesn’t matter so bring a lot. It should still be the same for this year.- Leave a cooler in your car so when you leave you can hydrate yourself after the long hours in the sun.- They will check your bag thoroughly so if your trying to bring stuff in you better try hard to hide it or leave it home. – They will kick you out for hardcore moshing.- You will have to spend money at least $10 on food/water inside the venue.- Credit cards are iffy. Some vendors have a machine some don’t.- Bring sunscreen, or wear it there.- There are some good bands that won’t be listed on the schedule. Check the smaller stages for times and who will be playing on them. – Don’t bring much stuff with you, because you will receive lots of awesome freebies. – Some vendors sell shirts and jewelry really cheep, which can easily fill your bags.- You can meet your favorite bands. When you get in, simply walk by each booth and find out when the bands will be signing and hanging out.
