On Oct. 19th, Rob Kampia, the executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project, is speaking on FAU’s campus. Going to the event is a great way for students and faculty to find out more about the current status of the fight against marijuana prohibition.
It would be fabulous if you could get in touch with your school’s paper and see if they are planning on covering the event. It would also be great to get a listing in the campus calendar section of the paper. Even if they are covering the event, you could send a letter to the editor of the paper urging students to attend the event.
I know that you are the president of NORML at FAU, and any help we could get from your group publicizing the event would be appreciated. MPP has handbill fliers available on their website at www.mpp.org
Get back to me and let me know what you can do to help. I have attached a copy of the press release that explains the specifics of the event.
Sincerely,
