Self-Defense Course – The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course. This is a 3-day intensive course open to FAU, BCC and PBCC students, faculty and staff. Women from the general public will be allowed to attend on a space available basis. Location is the FAU Police Department Room 118 at 6:00 pm, August 26th and September 2nd. Women’s Soccer – The FAU Women’s Soccer team will be hosting Louisiana-Lafayette at 7:30pm, August 27th. Directions to the Varsity Soccer Field: Follow I-95 or the Turnpike to Glades Road. Go East to the third traffic light past I-95. Turn left into the FAU main entrance. Proceed to the first road past the traffic light. Follow the road to its end. The Oxley Center is on the left hand side. Park in front and walk between the Oxley Center and the Baseball field to the soccer fields.
