Austin Boyle, sophomore: “I think it’s good we’re expanding; our projected population is about to rise, and it’s good we’re having a part in the selection process, how we can speak with these candidates.”
David Karlin, freshman: “I think it’s great to see the college hiring new professors. It’s nice to know that at least part of our tuition money is being spent on bettering our education.”
Misty Hudelson, freshman: “The new professors make sure my job continues, so I’m happy they’re coming. I work for the faculty secretary, so the more faculty there are, the more work I have.”
Alex Chery, freshman: “I think it’s good because there aren’t that many professors to begin with. What if you don’t like the professor, or his teaching style? I think it is a good improvement.”
Riggs Gjyshi, senior: “I think that the fact that they are hiring professors is the best thing the Honors College could do because it will increase the amount of classes offered which will decrease the rush for classes. It will also increase the diversity of classes.”
