The dog days of summer usually mean that things slow down at FAU. While these upcoming weeks aren’t exactly overloaded with things to do around here there are a few notable events to check out.

Comedy Club:
Wack-a-doos at the FAU Boca campus is presenting a comedy club showcase on Tuesday June 4 at
Scheduled for the night is Rick Bronson. Bronson is a veteran of the College Comedy scene. In fact he’s been the Canadian College Comedian of the Year for the past four years now.
It’s not quite clear who’s opening for him that night but it should still be a great show. The office of Student Development and Activities is putting on the show so if you want more information on the event, call them at 561-297-3735.

FAU Jazz Group Concert:
FAU’s Jazz Group is putting on the last concert of this year’s annual promenade series on Sunday June 9 at
Dr Tim Walters’ FAU Jazz Group will be playing jazz favorites all afternoon. The Jupiter Auditorium only seats two hundred and fifty so if you want to see the show get there early.

Also on Sunday June 9, FAU will be presenting “Carnivowl.” The free festivities start at
“Carnivowl” will feature a movie, an inflatable house, key chain keepers and food and drinks.æ
Each “Carnivowl” is different but they always present a movie and serve food and drinks.
