UP Profiles

If you’re looking for some extracurricular activities, then in one swoop you can see what FAU has to offer.

On Monday, Feb. 4, student organizations and clubs are holding the Club Fest. It’s a chance for all students to meet others and associate with others that have similar interests at the showcase that takes place every semester.

There will also be free food, so if you’re not enticed by joining a club, you can still grab a free lunch. While the February 4 event is for the Boca Raton Campus, other campuses are also planning to showcase their clubs.

If you can’t make the event, check out future issues of the UP to learn about the clubs and organizations that might spark your interest.

Purpose: Club Fest is an event held every semester to help both new and current students familiarize themselves with the diversity of clubs available on campus. Club Fest also helps organizations find new members.

Where: Boca Raton Campus Breezeway.

When: February 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go?: Involvement in student clubs helps you get involved, stimulates your social life and sweetens your resume. Plus, there’s free food.

All campuses will be holding Club Fest. Students are encouraged to contact their local student government to find out dates and locations.

If you would like your club or organization to be profiled in the University Press, send emails to [email protected]. Please include basic information about your club, including activities scheduled for spring 2002.
